Re: Random Thoughts
The initial thought was random, but I did calculations, so not entirely random:
This year, 70% of my pay has gone to paying bills. This does not include the extra $2000 I had to pay to satisfy my deductable when I had surgery. Nor does it include any gifts I bought for birthdays, weddings, etc.
I can't wait until it's flip-flopped...hell, even 50-50.

I just realized how funny that phrase sounds. Like there's any choice in the matter ... "I'm sorry, deductible, things just aren't working out between us. I'm afraid I can't ... I can't satisfy you any more."
Sorry, just a random thought!

Re: Random Thoughts
so i was just listening to npr, and they were talking about the death of erich kunzel -- a composer who was based in cincinnati -- and they called him "a true music man". my first thought was "he was from gary, indiana?" -_-

Man, think about how tough it must be for guys who are actually from Gary, Indiana to get into the music biz.

Ugh, you had to remind me of that again... Hearing about that struck me hard yesterday, I have a lot of good memories of going to concerts of him conducting the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra...

Nitpick: He was a conductor, not a composer. Two quite different things.

Re: Random Thoughts
I work for a rather large company, so in the shared server there are lots of files from a lot of people that do not have anything to do with me, blah blah.
I was navigating towards the file I will be working on, when I saw a file named "Waterfall", and I found myself thinking "Wouldn't it be awesome If I opened that excel file, and it turned out it has some kind of video or animation or some even awesomer form of depicting an actual waterfall?" Sadly, I'm pretty sure it's just a bunch of numbers. I just cannot bring myself to kill the hope by actually opening it.

It was probably for the best that you stuck with the river and lake excel files that you're used to.

It's a reference to a popular song from the 1990's titled "Waterfalls" by the musical group TLC.

Re: Random Thoughts
I always got TLC confused with Destiny's Child. Apparently (after looking it up) TLC actually came out with albums way before DC.
